Dr. Pablo Sanchez is a cardiologist with expertise in echocardiography and critical care medicine. He focuses on care for adults with complex cardiac and non-cardiac disease with multi-organ dysfunction hospitalized in the cardiac intensive care unit. His research interests center on evaluating the differential effect of cardiac injury and dysfunction on clinical outcomes of inflammatory subphenotypes in patients with the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and sepsis, to refine risk stratification, monitoring and management. Dr. Sanchez earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, serving as chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine, serving as chief fellow, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Stanford Hospital.
