Dr. Ben Hibbert is a Professor of Medicine and the Chair for the Division of Critical Care Cardiology at Mayo Clinic. He completed his Honors Bachelors of Science earning the University Gold Medal for highest standing. In 2006 he completed a Doctorate in Medicine then followed with Internal Medicine training where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently went on to complete his Cardiology training where he served as Chief Fellow. He received designations completing the Clinician Investigator Program while obtaining his PhD in Biochemistry. From 2013-2015, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology with a focus on Structural Heart Interventions. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with specialties in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Clinical Research.
